Men’s Soccer Drops Match Against No. 3 Wingate Thursday Night

 

 

HARTSVILLE, S.C. - The Coker University men's soccer team fell in a South Atlantic Conference matchup against No. 3 Wingate University at home Thursday night (Mar. 11) by a score of 3-0. 

 

The Cobras played a tight defensive match in the first half, allowing only one goal that came in the 25th minute to put No. 3 Wingate up 1-0 at the half. 

 

The Bulldogs would net two goals in the second half, first off a penalty kick in the 56th minute and off a nice passing sequence in the 71st minute. 

 

Senior Adam Kennedy recorded one shot for the Cobras offense, and Guillermo Falo Ejea recorded two saves between the pipes.
