How It Happened:

Game 1: This one started off with the two sides trading bases-clearing doubles. The Cavaliers hit one to go up 2-0 in the top of the first, followed by Madie Andrews hitting one to score Fair and Gaskins. UVA-Wise then went on a 3-0 run to head up 5-2, but the Cobras weren't done yet. A Gaskins bases-clearing double that scored Fair and Ally Moore made this one 5-4, and all of a sudden, things were within striking distance. Then, in the bottom of the seventh, Fair put a ball into play that scored both herself and Hennessy as the Cobras walked it off for the win!

Game 2: Game 2 was a defensive battle all the way through. The lone run in this one was scored by the Cavaliers in the top of the third, which proved to be enough to seal the deal in this one. The Cobras outhit the Cavaliers but couldn't quite bring a run across to tie or win.
