NEWBERRY, S.C. – The Anderson University women's tennis team earned its fifth straight win downing South Atlantic Conference opponent Newberry; 6-3 on Saturday afternoon at the Cayce Tennis Center.
Anderson improves to 14-3 overall and 7-1 in conference action while Newberry falls to 12-9 overall and 4-5 in SAC play.
The Trojans took an early 3-0 advantage in doubles action while picking up three more wins in the singles portion to set the final score at 6-3
Anderson remains on the road when it travels to SAC foe Tusculum on Tuesday. First serve is slated for 2 p.m.
