Softball Splits on the Road Against North Greenville

Game 1- W 10-11

Coker with their explosive offense wasted no time in game 1 of the doubleheader. Cameron Jackson singled to center scoring two RBI's scoring Chloe Pelham and Brooklynn Stueness. Kayla Oswell flew out to right field scoring Delaney Eaves who put herself in scoring position earlier in the game. The Cobras went quiet for a few innings until the top of the sixth came up and Jackson found another opening scoring Caitlyn Wray and Eaves. Coker put the finishing touches in the seventh inning scoring Ariana Fair and Carter Freeman putting the Cobras up 9-11. North Greenville came back to score just another run but fell short.

Game 2- L 6-4

The Cobras fell short in game two. Stuennes found an opening driving one up the middle and scoring Freeman from third. Jackson popped up to center scoring the Fair. Caitlyn Wray helped score the final run for the Cobras on a steal attempt that scored ended up rounding her on the bases and taking home on an error throw. The team had the lead but could not hold back the bats of North Greenville as they took the game (6-4).
