Trojans Overpower Erskine; 7-0

ANDERSON, S.C. – The Anderson University men's tennis team defeated rival Erskine, 7-0 (weather shorted) to earn its 18th win of the season on Friday afternoon at the AU Tennis Complex.

With the victory, the Trojans move to 18-5 overall earning another point in the Beville Cup standing for Anderson while the Flying Fleet fall to 2-17 on the season.

The Trojans clinched the match after winning just two of the played doubles matches. Erskine forfeited at the No. 3 doubles flight and at the No. 5 and No. 6 singles flights.

The Black and Gold travels to Rock Hill on Thursday for the South Atlantic Conference Tournament. Anderson's opponent is yet to be determined. First serve is scheduled at 9 a.m. at the Rock Hill Tennis Center.
