Lenoir-Rhyne's Kiplagat Named South Atlantic Conference AstroTurf Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference announced its AstroTurf Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week for meets competed in during the week of Oct. 15 through Oct. 21. Lenoir-Rhyne's Domtila Kiplagat was named the runner of the week.
Kiplagat, a senior from Eldoret, Kenya, recorded the fastest 6k time in Lenoir-Rhyne history when she captured first place at the Lenoir-Rhyne Classic. She crossed the finish line with a winning time of 21:24.14. Kiplagat also helped guide the Bears to a first place finish as a team.
This is Kiplagat's third Runner of the Week accolade this season.
