Queens' Deruytter Named South Atlantic Conference AstroTurf Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference announced its AstroTurf Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week for meets competed in during the week of Oct. 1 through Oct. 7. Queens University of Charlotte's Natane Deruytter was named the runner of the week.

Deruytter, a junior from Chagrin Falls, Ohio, helped lead the No. 19 Royals to a seventh place finish at the Lewis Conference Crossover. The first Royal to cross the finish line, Deruytter placed 26th overall, completing the 6k course in a time of 22:50.8.

This is Deruytter's first Runner of the Week accolade this season.
