Four SAC Women's Cross Country Teams Ranked in USTFCCCA Southeast Region Poll
NEW ORLEANS – The first NCAA Division II Cross Country Regional Rankings were released on Tuesday (Sept. 18) by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
Four South Atlantic Conference women's teams are represented in the first ranking. Queens leads the way in the No. 1 spot, followed by Anderson at No. 3, Wingate at No. 5 and Lincoln Memorial rounds out the ranking at No. 10.
The top three teams from each regional meet will automatically advance to the NCAA Division II Cross Country Championships in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on December 1. There are also ten at-large selections made by the NCAA Division II Men's and Women's Cross Country Committee that will also advance to NCAA National Championship.
