The South Atlantic Conference Announces Volleyball Players of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference announced its Volleyball Players of the Week for matches played during the ninth week of the 2022 season.  Lincoln Memorial outside hitter Maggie Sanderson was tabbed as the Offensive Player of the Week, while Wingate setter Shannon Kasprak was named the Defensive Player of the Week.

Sanderson, a freshman from Maryville, Tenn., led Lincoln Memorial to a 2-2 record last week with wins over USC Aiken and Georgia College. She had 41 kills, a .320 hitting percentage, 16 digs, and four blocks. She recorded double digit kills in three of the four matches. 

Kasprak, a graduate student from Austin, Texas, led the Bulldogs to a 3-1 win over Lenoir-Rhyne last week. She handed out 52 assists with 24 digs and a block. She also added five kills and had a .417 hitting percentage.
