Wingate Holds Firm in Latest Division II AVCA Coaches Poll

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Wingate University was tabbed No. 24 in the 12th week of the AVCA Division II Coaches Poll for the second consecutive week.

The Bulldogs (29-1, 19-1 SAC) are on a six-match win streak heading into the NCAA Southeast Regional as the No. 1 seed and host institution, starting on Thursday, November 15. The team is fresh off of yet another SAC tournament championship, their 11^th since 2006. Senior middle blocker Phoebe Havenaar was named the tournament MVP, while fellow Bulldogs, Rachel Alles and Kori Adams, joined her on the SAC All-Tournament Team.
