Queens Tops the Standings as Day 1 Comes to a Close at the 2017 South Atlantic Conference Women’s Track & Field Championship
Hickory, N.C. – Queens University of Charlotte sits at the top of the leaderboard Friday after day one of the 2017 South Atlantic Conference Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championships at the Irwin Belk Track and the Moretz Sports – Athletic Complex on the campus of Lenoir-Rhyne University.
On the women's side, Queens leads the way 76 points, close to 20 points over its next competitor: Anderson at 56.5 points. The Royals' Kim Thiade won the pole vault (11'10").
The second and final day of competition takes place on Saturday with the overall awards ceremony to take place at 4:45 p.m.
