Three South Atlantic Conference Schools Ranked in Top 10 of NCAA Southeast Region Women's Tennis Poll
Three members of the South Atlantic Conference were ranked in the NCAA Women’s Tennis Southeast Region Poll, which was released by the NCAA last week. Tusculum leads the way in the No. 2 spot, followed by Wingate at No. 3 and Queens at No. 7.
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Three members of the South Atlantic Conference were ranked in the NCAA Women's Tennis Southeast Region Poll, which was released by the NCAA last week. Tusculum leads the way in the No. 2 spot, followed by Wingate at No. 3 and Queens at No. 7.
The Pioneers enter the first regional ranking with a record of 16-0 and are currently ranked No. 13 in the latest Oracle/ITA Division II National Poll.
Wingate comes into the first ranking with a record of 13-1 and the Bulldogs are currently No. 21 in the Oracle/ITA Division II National Poll.
The Queens Royals have a record of 8-2 and are ranked No. 35 in the Oracle/ITA Division II National Poll.
The rankings are the official poll utilized by the NCAA in the championship selection process and will continue to be released each week by the NCAA Division II Women's Tennis Committee up to the NCAA Championship selections.
