Five SAC Women's Soccer Teams Ranked in Third NCAA Southeast Region Ranking
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference posted five teams in the NCAA Southeast Regional Women's Soccer Rankings. Lenoir-Rhyne came in at No. 2, with Wingate moved up to No. 6, Queens jumped to No. 7, Catawba fell to No. 8, and Lincoln Memorial moved to the No. 9 spot.
The Bears are currently ranked No. 8 the United Soccer Coaches Division II National Poll with a record of 15-2 overall.
The Wingate has a record of 12-3-2 overall, while Queens is 13-5-1. Catawba is 11-3-3 overall and Lincoln Memorial is 14-4 overall.
The rankings are the official poll utilized by the NCAA in the championship selection process and will continue to be released each week by the NCAA Division II Women's Soccer Committee up to the NCAA Championship selections.
