Carson-Newman Women's Soccer Ranked No. 2 in United Soccer Coaches Association Preseason Poll
KANSAS CITY, MO. – The United Soccer Coaches Association released its 2018 NCAA Division II women's preseason rankings on Tuesday (Aug. 7).
The Carson-Newman Eagles were the lone South Atlantic Conference team ranked. The Eagles earned a preseason No. 2 ranking after finishing the 2017 season with a record of 21-1-1. The Eagles advanced to the NCAA Championship match, before losing a heartbreaking match to Central Missouri in overtime.
The SAC women's soccer preseason poll will be released later in August. The 2018 season begins on Thursday, August 30.
