Darius Parker of Lander Named South Atlantic Conference Carolinas Men’s Wrestlers of the Week
GREENVILLE, S.C. – Darius Parker of Lander has been selected as the South Atlantic Conference Carolinas Wrestler of the Week for men’s wrestling for the week ending Dec. 5.
A sophomore from Fort Meyers, Florida, Parker went 5-0 this week. He earned a pin on Dec. 1 against Emmanuel while going 4-0 at the Carolina Clash. His performance was highlighted by an 8-4 win over Jordan Williams of Glenville State who was ranked No. 9 in the NWCA poll at 197. He also took an 18-1 tech fall in his match against Kentucky Wesleyan.
