Gage Bernall of Lander Named South Atlantic Conference Carolinas Men’s Wrestler of the Week
GREENVILLE, S.C. – Gage Bernall of Lander has been selected as the South Atlantic Conference Carolinas Wrestler of the Week for men’s wrestling for the week ending Nov. 21.
A native of Lakewood, Colorado, Bernall had a perfect week for the Bearcats. In the opening dual match against Mount Olive, the freshman won 11-0 at 157 pounds. He also went 4-0 at the Life University Open this past Saturday where he had three pins and a 10-7 decision, with one of those pins coming in the first-place match. This is the second Wrestler of the Week honor for Bernall this season.
