Three South Atlantic Conference Women's Basketball Players Earn WBCA All-American Honors
Carson-Newman’s Haris Price was named to the All-American team, while Mika Wester of Carson-Newman and Marta Miscenko of Wingate were both named to the All-American Honorable Mention team.
ATLANTA (March 18, 2018) – Three South Atlantic Conference women's basketball players have been named to the 2018 WBCA NCAA Division II Coaches' All-America team, announced by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association today. Carson-Newman's Haris Price was named to the All-American team, while Mika Wester of Carson-Newman and Marta Miscenko of Wingate were both named to the All-American Honorable Mention team.
Price, the 2018 SAC Co-Player of the Year, was named to the D2CCA All-Southeast Region team and to the NCAA Southeast Region All-Tournament team last week. Additionally, she was a first team All-SAC selection.
Wester, the 2018 SAC Tournament and NCAA Southeast Region Tournament MVP, was named to the D2CCA All-Southeast Region team and was a first team All-SAC selection this season.
Miscenko, the 2018 SAC Co-Player of the Year, was named to the D2CCA All-Southeast Region team and a first team All-SAC selection.
