Two South Atlantic Conference Softball Squads Earn Bids to the 2017 NCAA Division II Softball Championship
Indianapolis, Ind. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference put two softball teams into the 2017 NCAA Division II Softball Championship, the NCAA announced today. Carson-Newman earned the No. 2 seed in the Southeast Region and will play in the Savannah, Ga. sub-regional, while Lenoir-Rhyne picked up the No. 5 seed and will play at the Dahlonga, Ga. sub-regional. The Southeast Regional gets underway on Thursday, May 11. Below is a look at the Southeast Regional field:
