Queens Earns National Poll Ranking at No. 16, 5 SAC Men’s Cross Country Teams Ranked in Southeast Region
NEW ORLEANS – The U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced week three of its Southeast Region Men's Cross Country Poll on Tuesday (Oct. 1.) While also releasing week three of the National DII Men's Cross Country Rankings today (Oct. 2.)
Five teams from the South Atlantic Conference were represented in the poll, including preseason favorite, Queens in the No. 1 spot for the third straight week. The Royals didn't stop there, as they jumped from No. 19 to No. 16 in the National Rankings.
Wingate checked in at No. 5, with the No. 7 spot belonging to Anderson and up one spot at No. 8 is Catawba.
Rounding out the SAC teams also up one spot is Lenoir-Rhyne at No. 9
The SAC cross country season is underway with meets leading all the way up to the SAC Championship Meet at the end of the month (Oct. 26.)
