Lenoir-Rhyne's Jones Named 2018 SAC Men's Cross Country Elite 20 Winner

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The Lenoir-Rhyne Men's Cross Country runner Peyton Jones was named the Elite 20 Award, presented by the South Atlantic Conference on Saturday.
This award honors the student-athlete with the top cumulative grade-point average (based on a minimum of 48 credit hours) in each of the league's 20 team championship sports.
Jones, a junior from Advance, N.C., sports a 3.97 grade point average while majoring in Psychology and minoring in business.
His top time for the year was in the Lenoir-Rhyne Invitational – Sept. 14 – in which he posted a time of 28:24.78 in the 8K.
