Crifasi won the Hagan Stone Classic in a field that included multiple Division I teams. The junior ran a time of 26:34 over the 8K course, finishing seven seconds ahead of the second-place runner.
His performance was the 10th-best time in school history, and the nearest Division II runner finished almost a minute behind.
Griewisch finished ninth out of 289 competitors and was the top Division II runner at the Charlotte Invitational this past Friday. She finished with a time of 17:30 on the 5K course, a personal best for the decorated runner.
Griewisch's strong performance helped Lenoir-Rhyne to a 17th-place team finish in the highly-competitive event that featured multiple Division I opponents. This is her third Runner of the Week recognition in 2011.
