Catawba's Cecere Named South Atlantic Conference WePlayed Sports Men's Tennis Player of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Catawba's Edoardo Cecere has been named the South Atlantic Conference WePlayed Sports Men's Tennis Player of the Week for matches played during week ten of the 2024 season, the Conference announced today. This marks the second straight weekly honor for Cecere.

Cecere, a graduate student from Turin, Italy went 3-0 at No. 1 singles and was 3-0 at No. 1 doubles for the Catawba Indians on the week. Cecere won each of his singles matches in straight sets to lead Catawba past Limestone, Coker and Lenoir-Rhyne on the week.
