Wingate's Nossler Named South Atlantic Conference WePlayed Sports Men's Tennis Player of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) –Wingate's Hugo Nossler has been named the South Atlantic Conference WePlayed Sports Men's Tennis Player of the Week for matches played during week six of the 2024 season, the Conference announced today.

Nossler, a junior from Tidaholm, Sweden, went 2-0 in doubles play and 1-0 in singles action last week, as he led the Bulldogs to a 1-1 record, including 4-2 win over No. 16 Embry-Riddle. Nossler picked up a pair of wins at No. 1 doubles defeating Florida Southern 6-2 and Embry-Riddle 6-4. He then was victorious at No. 5 singles winning 6-3, 6-3 versus Florida Southern and his match against Embry-Riddle went unfinished at No. 5 as the Bulldogs clinched the match.
