Three SAC Teams Ranked in First NCAA Southeast Region Men's Tennis Poll
Three members of the South Atlantic Conference were ranked in the NCAA Men’s Tennis Southeast Region Poll, which was released by the NCAA last week. Queens leads the way in the No. 4 spot, followed by Wingate at No. 5 and Anderson at No. 10.
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Three members of the South Atlantic Conference were ranked in the NCAA Men's Tennis Southeast Region Poll, which was released by the NCAA last week. Queens leads the way in the No. 4 spot, followed by Wingate at No. 5 and Anderson at No. 10.
The Royals enter the first regional ranking with a record of 6-2 in region play, and are currently ranked No. 16 in the latest Oracle/ITA Division II National Poll.
Wingate comes into the first ranking with a record of 11-3 in region, and the Bulldogs are currently No. 14 in the Oracle/ITA Division II National Poll.
The Anderson have a record of 11-5 in region, and are ranked No. 29 in the Oracle/ITA Division II National Poll.
The rankings are the official poll utilized by the NCAA in the championship selection process and will continue to be released each week by the NCAA Division II Men's Tennis Committee up to the NCAA Championship selections.
