Limestone and Lenoir-Rhyne Named Men's and Women's Soccer Southeast Region Staff of the Year

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (December 1, 2023) -- United Soccer Coaches announced on Friday the 2023 Region Staff of the Year recipients for NCAA Divisions I, II, and III men's and women's soccer. The South Atlantic Conference swept the Southeast Region as Limestone was named the Men's Staff of the Year and Lenoir-Rhyne was named the Women's Staff of the Year.

Limestone is led by head coach Ali Al-Gashamy and includes assistants Preston Walker, Miquel Villarroya, Anthony Lliano, and Matthew Farris.

Lenoir-Rhyne is led by head coach Dean Ward and includes assistants Zandy Soree and Reaghan Duval.

Each of the 52 (26 men's and 26 women's) coaching staffs receiving Region Staff of the Year honors through a vote of their peers, will be recognized at the College Coaches Awards Ceremony at the United Soccer Coaches Convention on Thursday, January 11, 2024, in Anaheim, Calif. 

In addition, the Region Staff of the Year recipients will be placed on the ballot for National Staff of the Year consideration within their respective NCAA division. National Staff of the Year voting opens December 6, 2023.
