Four South Atlantic Conference Teams Named in NCAA Division II Men's Regional Rankings
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The NCAA announced its third week of Division II men's soccer regional rankings on Wednesday (Oct. 31), with four teams representing the SAC in the southeast.
At No. 4 is Lenoir-Rhyne. The Bears defeated Coker 2-0 in the conference tournament quarterfinals to advance to face Anderson on Friday, November 2.
Queens University of Charlotte holds fifth in the southeast region, but the Royals' second-seeded SAC tournament berth was upset in the first round by Carson-Newman 2-1.
Lincoln Memorial secures the No. 6 rank. The Railsplitters lost a tightly-contested match with Anderson, 2-1, in the quarterfinals.
Closing out the southeast at No. 8 is Anderson. The Trojans continue their season as the No. 4 seed in the conference tournament to face No. 1 seeded Lenoir-Rhyne in the semifinal matchup.
On Friday, November 2, the South Atlantic Conference Tournament will continue with the semifinals being held at Manchester Meadows in Rock Hill, S.C.
