The South Atlantic Conference Posts Eight Men’s Soccer Student-Athletes to CoSIDA Academic All-District Team
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference posted eight men's soccer student-athletes to the 2017 CoSIDA Academic All-District team, the organization announced today. Juan Carlos Carrillo of Queens was the lone SAC representative for forwards. Wingate teammates Filipe Checco and David Fairgrieve, along with Tom Reed highlight the midfielders. Breki Bjarnason of Catawba, Newberry's Quicy Kroeschell and Jens Roessler of Lenoir-Rhyne were named defenders. Wingate goalkeeper Pablo Jara rounds out the SAC representation of 2017 CoSIDA Academic All-Americans.
