The South Atlantic Conference Posts Four Men’s Soccer Teams in the NCAA Division II Regional Rankings
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference posted four teams in the NCAA Southeast Region Men's Soccer Rankings, the NCAA announced today. Wingate came in at No.3, Carson-Newman landed at No. 4, Lincoln Memorial earned the No. 6 position and Lenoir-Rhyne rounded out the list for the South Atlantic Conference at No. 7.
Wingate is currently ranked No. 24 in the nation by the United Soccer Coaches poll.
The Bulldogs are 9-3 overall this season, while the Eagles are 9-3-1 on the year. Lincoln Memorial is and Lenoir-Rhyne are both 7-2-3 overall.
The rankings are the official poll utilized by the NCAA in the championship selection process and will continue to be released each week by the NCAA Division II Men's Soccer Committee up to the NCAA Championship selections.
