The South Atlantic Conference Has Two Men's Lacrosse Teams in the NCAA Regional Rankings
NCAA D-II Men's Lacrosse Regional Rankings
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference posted two teams in the NCAA South Region Men's Lacrosse Rankings, the NCAA announced recently. Lenoir-Rhyne leads the way at No. 2, while Wingate is currently ranked No. 4.
The Bears, the 2017 SAC Regular Season Champions, are ranked No. 7 in the nation and posted a record of 12-2 in the South Region.
Wingate claimed the 2017 South Atlantic Conference Men's Lacrosse tournament title and sit at No. 10 in the nation. The Bulldogs are currently 13-3 in the region.
The rankings are the official poll utilized by the NCAA in the championship selection process and will continue to be released each week by the NCAA Division II Men's Lacrosse Committee up to the NCAA Championship selections.
