Sixteen South Atlantic Conference Carolinas Student-Athletes Named Zag Field Hockey/NFHCA Division II Scholars of Distinction
GILBERT, Ariz. — This year, 86 student-athletes have been recognized as Zag Field Hockey/NFHCA Division II Scholars of Distinction.
The Division II Scholars of Distinction program recognizes student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative grade-point average of 3.9 or higher through the first semester of the 2018-19 academic year.
Of those 86 honorees, 16 of them represent South Atlantic Conference Carolinas schools. Queens leads the way with five honorees, followed by Limestone with four selections and Newberry with three. Coker had two named to the list and Belmont Abbety and Converse had one selection each.

The NFHCA has already announced the 2018 Zag Field Hockey/NFHCA Division II National Academic Team Award and the 2018 Zag Field Hockey/NFHCA Division II National Academic Squad — the Zag Field Hockey/NFHCA Division II National Scholar-Athlete will be announced on April 2.
