Catawba and Lincoln Memorial Represent the South Atlantic Conference in the NCAA D-II Baseball Regional Rankings

NCAA D-II Baseball Regional Rankings

 

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference posted two teams in the NCAA Southeast Regional Baseball Rankings, the NCAA announced recently.  Catawba came in at No. 4 while Lincoln Memorial sits at No. 8.

The Catawba Indians, the 2017 South Atlantic Conference Regular Season Champions, are currently ranked No. 27 in the nation by Collegiate Baseball and are 36-16 in the Southeast Region.

Lincoln Memorial comes in at No. 30 on the Collegiate Baseball poll and is 32-16 in the region.  The Railsplitters took home the 2017 Pilot/Flying J Baseball Tournament Championship on May 1.

The rankings are the official poll utilized by the NCAA in the championship selection process and will continue to be released each week by the NCAA Division II Baseball Committee up to the NCAA Championship selections.
