Hickory, N.C. – The Lenoir-Rhyne Volleyball Team pushed its winning streak to five in a row with a 3-0 sweep over Newberry. Tonight was both the home opener and SAC opener for the Bears who continue their torrid start to the season.

Lenoir-Rhyne hits the road again when they travel to the Francis Marion Invitational this weekend. The Bears open with a rematch against UNC Pembroke on Friday at 4 p.m. LR defeated the Braves 3-2 on August 31.
