Trojans Fall to No. 39 Tusculum; 7-2

GREENEVILLE, TENN. – The Anderson University women's tennis team could not recover from the doubles sweep dropping a 7-2 decision to top-tier No. 39 Tusculum on Tuesday afternoon at the Nichols Tennis Complex.

Anderson drops to 14-4 overall and 7-2 in conference action while Tusculum moves to 13-5 overall and 8-1 in SAC play.

The Trojans were able to claim two points in singles action with wins from Ivey Welborn and Delaney Wiggins.

Anderson returns home for its final home match against SAC opponent Lenoir-Rhyne. First serve is slated for 1 p.m.
